ShapingBio attended its first event to scout for stakeholders – and what better occasion could it be than the joint conference of European Summit of Industrial Biotechnology (ESIB), 11th International Conference on Fiber & Polymer Biotechnology (IFPB 2022) and PICHIA 2022?

Tanja Meyer manned the ShapingBio & Bio Base Europe Pilot Plant booth in Graz, Austria from 14.-16. November 2022 and attended the session on ‘Trends in Policy’ discussing the European Deal and the trend toward recycling waste streams and use of new resources, as well as new opportunities in industrial biotechnology. 

The question on ‘how can decision-makers be involved at an early stage’ is a relevant question, that ShapingBio will answer by involving policy makers and industry in focus groups right from the start to discuss a) Policy and Governance, b) Applied R&D + tech Transfer, c) Cooperation and d) Financing.
