Processing and Storing of your Data

Your data will be processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (available at https://eur-lex.europa.eu/eli/reg/2016/679/oj/eng). All information collected about you will be kept strictly confidential inside the consortium and EU Commission. Only the ShapingBio beneficiaries will have access to the data collected. Data and information will be stored and shared with project partners in shared storage facilities (e.g. Microsoft Teams and Microsoft SharePoint). We will store your data no longer than August 2028.

Your data will not be sent to third parties. Your data will not be sent to countries outside of the European Union. The sole purpose of storing your data is for project activities.


Specific for interviews

The interview can be electronically recorded for the purpose of the ShapingBio Project, summarised and, if necessary, transcribed. The recording will be deleted immediately after the summary or transcript has been created. The results of your interview will be anonymised and used for analysis and policy recommendations in the project. After completion of the research project, your data will be stored in order to be able to prove that guidelines for ensuring good scientific practice were adhered to.

Dissemination of Results: The data stored will be used for research purposes. This includes publications, the creation of a network, dissemination of information and events.

Supervision: Each ShapingBio beneficiary has its own ethical rules, taking into account the national legislation.

Data Breach: In case of a data breach, each beneficiary will immediately inform the Coordinator. Together they will undertake all steps necessary to minimize any possible negative consequences. You will receive a notification as soon as possible about the nature of the data breach, the information lost and the actions that are being taken to prevent or minimize any possible harm.


Specific for Social Media

Social Media of Shaping Bio is executed by project partner Food & Bio Cluster Denmark and this partner also collect and managed data about the social media channels (linkedin, twitter, website). Read about Food & Bio Cluster Denmark’s processing of your personal data:

Specific for registration to events

For the registration of workshop organized by ShapingBio, we ask for a few mandatory information, including name, organization, e-mail , in order to enable further correspondence for information about the specific event.

In addition, allowance that pictures will be taken or video will be recorded from the event to be used in the promotion of ShapingBio is a mandatory field. The photos and videos will be only used for communication and dissemination on ShapingBio.

All data collected for registration will be stored as described in "Processing and Storing of your Data".

Data sharing and re-use

The data stored will be used for the activities relating to ShapingBio. This includes their processing for research purposes and dissemination activities. Your data could be re-used by other relevant EU funded projects. Your data will, under no circumstances, be sold to any third party.


Your rights

You have the right to ask for correction and/or deletion of your data and you can restrict the processing of your data, as granted in GDPR Article 15 -22.
