Denmark has decided to plant 150.000 hectares of new production forest on agricultural land, thus some of the present agricultural biomass will be replaced by forestry biomass. The biogenic carbon from thinning should be turned into the highest possible value.

Danish competencies within food and pharma bio solutions should learn from Scandinavian partners how to build new forestry biogenic carbon value chains for optimal solutions.
