This ShapingBio policy recommendations workshop is focused on exploring strategic bioeconomy policy recommendations aimed at enhancing collaboration, financing opportunities and supporting the scaling-up of bio-based products throughout the entire innovation chain.

The ShapingBio project team has now worked for nearly three years and consulted hundreds of stakeholders within EU to derive its recommendations, which will serve as one of the key input into the ongoing revision the EU Bioeconomy Strategy.

This workshop is a critical opportunity for stakeholders to approve and refine these recommendations before they are communicated to the EC. 

Participants will have the opportunity to discuss best practices for aligning policies with industry needs, fostering innovation, and promoting the broader adoption of bio-based products.

Key Objectives

• To provide actionable recommendations for the EU and Member States to promote bio-based product development and adoption.
  
  
• To encourage interactive discussions and knowledge-sharing among peers from various sectors and countries.
