ShapingBio will participate in the symbiosis workshop under the theme collaboration at the Danish Bioeconomy Conference (Dansk Bioøkonomi Konference), which will take place on 4-5 October in Maribo, Denmark.

About the conference

The goal of the bioeconomy conference is to provide participants with new knowledge and networks for collaborations on new sustainable productions and products, where strengthened ecosystems and increased biodiversity are part of the solutions. It is necessary to work to ensure that biomass from land and water is cultivated, harvested and utilised sustainably in a bio-based regenerative society. The conference will help realise the potential of the bioeconomy in Denmark.

Workshop on symbiosis under the theme collaboration

In the workshop, participants will gain insight into work processes, models, methods, tools and organisational forms that two Danish organisations have found to be important building blocks in establishing strong symbiosis partnerships. Also, focus will be on the role of bio-resources in relation to sustainable production and circular value chains based on their analysis work on Lolland-Falster.
