From January to June 2024, a series of three workshops will be organised with the purpose of developing recommendations to boost cross-sectoral collaboration in bioeconomy across the EU.

The ShapingBio project aims at accelerating bioeconomy innovation in the EU and cross-sectoral collaboration is one of the key elements for that. The goal of the workshops is to foster a deeper understanding of what the current key hurdles for cross-sectoral collaboration in bioeconomy are and how policies can enable to best overcome these.

For that purpose we analyze a number of different cross-sectoral collaborations across Europe and engage experts with knowledge and/or experience on the topic to catalyze the process.

The participants will have the opportunity to influence how future bioeconomy policies should be shaped to support collaboration between individual bioeconomy actors across Europe and thereby pave the way for future bioeconomy innovations.
