Bridging the Funding Gap: Scaling Innovations in Circular Bioeconomy

Recognising the critical need to bridge the funding gap between fund-seekers and providers in the circular bioeconomy, and following the publication of the National Bioeconomy Action Plan 2023-2025, we are pleased to invite you to a dialogue and networking event. As one of the flagship events of Bioeconomy Ireland Week, the event is organised by ShapingBio, in collaboration with Teagasc, BiOrbic and Furthr.

The event will focus on exploring strategies to tackle the funding challenges and gaps in scaling innovation. Representatives from successful spin-out and start-up companies, alongside key experts and investors, will contribute to the discussions.

During the event, three bio-economy companies will share their experiences in securing finance, discussing the factors that enabled their success and the obstacles they encountered. In addition, two investors active in this field will offer insights into their funding instruments and what they seek in potential investments.
