From January to September 2024, a series of three workshops will be organised by ShapingBio on the theme "Applied R&D and technology transfer" in the bioeconomy sector, where participants will have the unique opportunity to influence how future bioeconomy policies should be shaped and thereby pave the way for future bioeconomy innovations.

ShapingBio aims at supporting and accelerating bioeconomy innovation in the EU and its member states. Our mission is to foster a deeper understanding of the bioeconomy innovation eco-system and engage all relevant actors to catalyze progress.

The participants will among others have the opportunity to 

• get first-hand information on ShapingBio (interim) results, especially overview of and insights into bioeconomy activities in the EU;
• bring in stakeholders‘ perspectives, to contribute to finetune the work programme and to comment on the recommendations developed in the project;
